Einstein@GNOME Neutron Star Search
Einstein@GNOME is a GNOME panel applet that lets you participate in the Einstein@Home neutron star search. It is a frontend for the boinc client and was developed because there are no other decent GUIs available yet.
Before You Download
In order to be able to install Einstein@GNOME, you will need other software on your computer. Please make sure that the following development packages do already exist:
- Einstein@Home (Boinc) client
- the Scons installer. (This is already being shipped with many distributions.)
- gnome-2.6 or greater
- the libgnomeui development package version 2.6.0 or greater
Users not familiar with installing source packages are recommended to ask their distributor to provide them with an easy to install binary package. Please do not hesitate to file a bug if you run into problems installing the software.

If you want to get involved in development, contact me for a CVS account. I hand them out freely.
